India Ideas Conference

India Ideas Conference

The Georgetown University India Initiative hosted the India Ideas Conference in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The comprehensive one-day event united scholars, practitioners, diplomats, and public- and private-sector leaders in high-level dialogues surrounding ongoing innovation and challenges in India today.

Georgetown has long served as an international convening power in Washington, D.C.—attracting leaders from a variety of industries and disciplines for constructive discourse. Drawing on this strength, the Georgetown India Ideas Conference featured topical keynote speakers and expert panels in order to raise awareness in political and scholarly communities and among the broader public about pressing issues facing India today.
