The FICCI Indo-U.S. Forum of Parliamentarians—organized in conjunction with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)—brought a delegation of Indian members of parliament to campus for a two-day foreign policy workshop led by Georgetown faculty. The annual workshop convened conversations between Indian policymakers and U.S. thought leaders on topics of mutual concern to the United States and India.
As part of the workshop, the delegates participated in foreign policy lectures with distinguished Georgetown faculty members on topics including nuclear security, environmental diplomacy, global terrorism, international trade, and the development of geopolitical diplomacy. The FICCI Indo-U.S. Forum of Parliamentarians program—and the politicians it convenes—represented the diversity and pluralism of Indian politics.
