Amit Ahuja discusses mobilizing marginalized citizens

On February 5, 2018, the India Initiative hosted Amit Ahuja, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on political inclusion and exclusion in South Asian multiethnic societies, specifically within the context of ethnic parties, military organization, and inter-caste marriage. He discussed his forthcoming book, Mobilizing Marginalized Citizens: Ethnic Parties Without Ethnic Movements (under contract at Oxford University Press).
