The Department of Performing Arts is an academic department in the College with undergraduate degree programs in American Musical Culture and Theater and Performance Studies. In addition to sponsoring dozens of student performing groups in music, theater, and dance, the department collaborates with Embassies and international communities in DC, hosts international artists for on-campus events and longer-term residencies, and organizes international tours for Georgetown faculty and students in music and theater.
